The Coronavirus outbreak drove unprecedented challenges across the world. And India had taken necessary measures to control the spread of the virus, the lockdown had left underprivileged communities and their children even more vulnerable than before. With no money to buy provisions and the absence of midday meals due to the closure of schools, they were struggling to provide for their families – a situation that was not only causing unbearable hunger but also putting their children, who were already undernourished, at the risk of severe malnutrition.
The closure of government healthcare centers, suspension of the school midday meal scheme, loss of family income has affected children across the country. The struggle to provide for the family is causing unbearable hunger, health issues and leads to malnutrition. With lowered immunity due to such malnutrition and the lack of access to hygiene supplies and healthcare facilities, they are even more vulnerable to this disease.

HOW DID WE HELP?
The most important way to help those people in this situation was to provide food and the basic medical kits to help them to stay healthy. Staying healthy would give them more immunity to stay away from Covid-19.
This campaign reached a wider crowd which helped the underprivileged to get their basic medical kits and food for them and their family.
